This weekend I had to go to a Rotary conference for the euro tour orientation. I got to meet all the new exchange students that just got here in January, and also all the other kids from other districts that are going on our tour. Not all districts have euro tours so the kids need to search for one from another district that they can go on. There are 27 kids going with, all of them from either an english or spanish speaking country. I lost my voice because I spent the whole weekend speaking english. Rotary wants us trying to speak as much German as possible, and we do try, but its hard when everyone has so much to say and there are so many Americans or Canadians or Australians... We always end up switching to English.

Well thats it...bye :)

I miss your voice, but not because you lost it last weekend..... It doesn't surprise me (Megaphone) that you took advantage of speaking in your native tongue. I'm sure I'd be the same way! You're going to have SO MUCH FUN on your tour!!! I can't wait to read / hear all about it! I do so want to hear some German. Your mom tells me you know different dialects..you're learning so much and we are all just so proud of you! XOXOXO
